Although dogs are lovable animals, there are still many people who can’t appreciate these amazing creatures. Some dog owners don’t care about their dogs and end up abandoning them or leaving them outside the house with little to no interaction. It’s hard to understand how people can treat dogs like this since these animals want nothing but love from their families.
A dog named Toro was found by rescuers tied to a fence outside an abandoned house. Toro had a heavy chain wrapped around his neck and he was timid and didn’t really know how to interact with people. It’s estimated that Toro was already six-years-old when he was rescued and that he’s been kept outside his entire life.
Thankfully, Toro was rescued by amazing people. When Toro arrived at the shelter, he was still shy and didn’t know how to interact with humans. However, all of these was about to change when the rescue staff and volunteers started to show Toro what it’s like to be loved. Little by little, Toro started to warm up to his rescuers and the humans around him.
Now, whenever a shelter volunteer or staff takes Toro out of his kennel to go out for a walk, the first thing that Toro does is give the person a hug. Toro would hug anyone he meets and there’s never a mean bone in his body. Despite being treated badly his entire life, Toro remains a gentle, friendly, and loving dog.
It didn’t take long for Toro to get noticed and get media attention. Toro’s heartwarming story touched everyone’s heart. Because of how adorable Toro is, it won’t be too hard for him to find his forever home with a family that will truly give him the life that he deserves. Here’s a heartwarming video featuring Toro’s story that will truly touch your heart.
