Luna, a pit bull, just got her forever home. Her new parents are so happy and proud to have her. They get to know her each day, and so far, they welcome every trait that they discover along the way.
Luna was born in a foster home together with her 11 other siblings. After several weeks, because of a shelter in Tennessee, Humane Educational Society, the puppies started getting adopted one by one, including the mother pit bull. That’s how Luna met her new parents.
The name of her human-parents are Josh Myers and Hannah Huddleston; they are a young couple residing in Chattanooga. Their ride home was memorable because it was such a sweet and pure moment, Josh driving while Hannah and Luna were beside him, precious puppy cradled in Hannah’s arms.
As she grows older in their family, and the couple was happy to experience Luna’s sweetness; she’s such a sensitive dog.
They enjoyed her company more and more each day, but one day Luna surprised them with her genuine reaction. While they watch “The Lion King,” Luna plays with one of her toys. But when the scene where Mufasa falls into death came on, Luna paused playing for a second and watched the painful scene.

When Simba tries to wake Mufasa up, Luna started crying. It’s as if she can relate to what Simba has gone through as if she can understand the pain. How thoughtful is that?
Luna is such a sweet dog; you can see it right away in her eyes. But to witness something that sensitive? I’m in awe. We do not deserve dogs’ pureness.
They said that Luna was not the only one who has a soft heart; her siblings are like her, too! They still have a mini-reunion once in a while to play with each other.
I hope we can exhibit the same empathy towards each other the same way Luna showed it. We sometimes need to be more like them to see the other side of things. Purity, we all need that.
