I would usually try and soothe my stressed out self by watching perfect dog hair cutting videos or watching several pictures of newly groomed dogs posted on YouTube or Facebook. Watching those videos or images, you’d see the difference – the precision and clean trims, and how the dogs felt satisfied and relaxed after a visit to their favorite groomers. This particular dog haircut post did not go as planned but is hilarious you’d take it.
Summer’s still blazing hot, and every furry friend of ours need a haircut so they can breathe. A Siberian Husky from Texas was terribly shedding and his person, Hannah Gomez decided to bring him to the salon to have him “trimmed,” and the upbeat dog is also long overdue for a haircut.
The 4-year-old Husky came back home with his “new look,” behaved the same as before, upbeat and as always curled up to Gomez’s bed right next to her. The next morning, he picked up his toy and wanted to play with her like it doesn’t even care about his looks.
The next day, Gomez posted another picture with a caption “THE SECOND PICTURE. I CAN’T”. Gomez thought the pooch was utterly oblivious to it! He’s still the goofy odd dog that she fell in love with. She was pretty sure that all those shaved hair would grow back after some time.
To all dog and humans who experienced a terrible hair cut, this story serves as an inspiration (more like a lesson). This is an excellent reminder that if you want to change your look, never forget to bring pictures of hairstyles you want to show to the groomer or hairstylist.
But to be really safe, I’d reschedule my dog’s grooming if my trusted dog stylist isn’t around even if their establishment is popular around here.
