We will forever be thankful for dogs and their pure hearts. They provide us with unconditional love and companionship and ask for very little in return. That’s why it’s always so heartbreaking when we hear stories about dogs who are abandoned or abused.
The silver lining is, we stumble upon stories like these that restore our faith in humanity. This is one of those stories.
Chucha was abandoned in a basket by a river in Ukraine. A little boy saw her and called the Love Furry Friends Rescue Channel, and the puppy’s life was changed.
Fortunately, she was located by a kind-hearted woman who fosters abandoned dogs and looks for people who could adopt them.
The young dog was named Chucha by the woman who found her. She was found on the 24th day after the war in Ukraine started, so it’s a miracle she was rescued at all. Chucha was very lucky that even at a time of war, there were still people who were willing to help her.
Even though Chucha had to stay underground when the war siren sounded, a family in a safer part of Ukraine adopted her. Chucha now has a family of her own, and a human baby girl to play with. Let’s help by donating to this lady who ensures no animal is left behind!
Stories like Chucha’s remind us that even in the darkest of times, there is still hope. Good people are still out there, ever willing to go out of their way to help those in need— even if those in need happen to be four-legged furry friends.
Adopt a dog and make a difference in the world. Consider donating to organizations like Love Furry Friends Rescue Channel who are dedicated to helping animals like Chucha find their forever homes.
