When dogs get wiggly with anticipation, you just can’t resist giving them some of their favorite goodies. They can smell the treats you’re about to give them and they know that the reward is near. It’s always adorable to see them excited to receive a treat.
It’s normal to see dogs ask their owners to buy them their favorite nummies at the store. However, this one particular dog doesn’t ask his owner to buy his treats, instead, he asks his owner to accompany him to the store so he could buy the treats himself. I guess you could say this dog is proactive.
The dog being talked about is named Hali. Hali loves his treats, just like any other dog does! However, what sets Hali apart from other dogs is he likes to take matters into his own paws. Translation: he buys himself his very own favorite goodies!
Now, you might be curious as to how a dog could possibly buy himself treats at a store, watch the video below to see for yourself!
You can see that Hali is the one holding his leash, not his owner. He’s basically walking himself! That alone is something you don’t see every day.
The moment Hali and his owner stepped inside the store, Hali began to sniff and look around searching for the doggy treat aisle. Once he finally arrived at the aisle, he wasted no time and started shopping right away! He picked his most loved treats and put them inside the basket.
After Hali grabbed everything he wanted, he and his owner proceeded to the cashier. But do you know what’s more surprising than a dog shopping for his own treats? A dog paying for them. And yes, you guessed right. That’s exactly what happened next!
Hali confidently took a bag of treats using his mouth and placed it on the counter. After all his goodies were totaled, it was time to pay! And because he likes to do things by himself, he also paid by himself!
Hali politely took the money from his owner and gave it to the cashier. The lady was amazed by Hali’s surprising independence and gave him a treat. He carried the bags and walked out of the store feeling proud of himself.
