Before the coronavirus pandemic, work-from-home arrangements were not all that common, perhaps because there are simply too many distractions at home. Employees are able to maximize their productivity when working in their offices because there are no or fewer distractions.
However, because many people are being requested to work from home, let’s just say that things aren’t as simple as they first appeared, especially for single dog parents like Kevin Johnson, who lives alone. Kevin adopted a puppy because he will be working from home for the foreseeable future, and he wanted to have a companion.
People now have the time to care for a dog while working from home, resulting in a large increase in dog adoptions worldwide. This was also why Kevin adopted Jenny from the local animal shelter. However, this novice dog owner failed to recognize that his pet required his undivided attention at all times.
Kevin wanted to record the times when his pet prevented him from working. Jenny would put her paws on Kevin’s hand whenever he reached for his laptop, as if suggesting to him that he should not do any kind of work and give her lots of cuddles instead.
Obviously, Kevin would comply. Who would have the courage to say no to that adorable puppy face? The Chow Chow and Golden Retriever mix knows exactly how to woo her father. She surely didn’t know that Kevin needs to work in order to buy her many dog goodies.
This video has over 3.6 million views on social media because it is both funny and adorable. We can only hope that Kevin’s boss finds this amusing.
Seeing a shelter dog behave in this manner, we can bet our bottom dollar that even the hardest manager would be moved by this adorable dog and allow their employees to give in to their pets’ whims.
