When we’re used to getting what we want, when we want it, it’s easy to expect that things will always be that way. This Siberian Husky named Zeus behaved precisely this way.
He’s not the only dog in the family, but he behaves like he is. He has a German Shepherd brother who’s the Husky’s exact opposite, but Zeus didn’t mind that one bit.
The Husky was spoiled, and he wasn’t apologetic about it one bit. What Zeusy wants, Zeusy gets. His hooman parents love spoiling him, hence the attitude.
One day, the Husky’s mom brought home a new bed. Zeus has one in every corner of the house, and that’s how catered-to this pet is. No wonder he’s a bit of a diva.
Mom and dad labored to get this bed for him, so they hoped that the Husky would at least appreciate it. The dog’s parents knew that their German Shepherd would love it because he liked everything they bring home for him.
If you think that’s a great way to model proper behavior to Zeus, you’re not alone. We just don’t think it’s the most effective one for the Husky to practice proper decorum.
When Zeus finally saw his new bed, the doggo sniffed and inspected every single corner of it. The bed looked good enough, but the Husky took his sweet time investigating his new digs.
The Husky’s German Shepherd brother did the same, but this family knew that it’s the silver and white dog’s approval they need.
After a time, Zeus gave his mom a look. She asked if he liked it, and the dog responded by whining and plopping down on his old bed.
The German Shepherd not only plopped on it, he brought a toy with him too. His behavior is a true lesson in gratefulness, and we’re down for it!
