A man in Hawaii buried a dog alive, but luckily, someone saw and reported it to PAWS of Hawaii, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping animals. A rescue team eventually came to save the dog, which was not only buried alive but also had other visible signs of abuse.
PAWS of Hawaii shared the story of the dog online, and donations poured in.
The organization was able to pay for her care, as well as help other animals in need. While many dog owners are responsible, some are not. These people can cause their dogs a lot of pain and heartache.
There are many ways that people can be cruel to their pets. They may neglect them or force them to fight with other dogs or even other animals. Sometimes they even kill their dogs because they don’t want them anymore.
Some people abuse their dogs because they don’t know any better and don’t realize how much pain they’re causing the poor animal. But sometimes people deliberately hurt their pets out of anger or even just because they feel like it. No matter what the reason is, it’s never right to hurt an innocent animal just because you feel like it.
It’s also illegal in most places too. But, it’s not always the owners who are at fault here. Many times, it isn’t even the owner who’s abusing their dog. Other people who live in the house or visit regularly may not care about the dog as much as the owner does.
When someone abuses a dog, it can usually be hard to spot at first because the pet might seem fine on the outside. However, if you notice something strange about your dog or if they start acting strangely around certain people, then it might be a good idea to seek advice from a specialist such as an animal or veterinary behaviorist.
