Cats and dogs have indeed been trying to kill each other for thousands of years. But nowadays, a lot of fur parents can easily find ways to get these two creatures to sign a peace treaty, so to speak. Information is now available at a click of a button, so we shouldn’t be surprised that most people are well-educated when it comes to training their pets.
Having these two creatures live together peacefully under one roof is wonderful. But what this fur parent captured on her Ring camera takes it up a notch, without a doubt.
Fur parent Carly has a German shepherd named Mercy and two cats at home. Recently, the fur mom has been having problems with her doggo destroying everything she could get her paws on.
In an interview, Carly shared that Mercy chewed on pretty much everything in the living room, including picture frames. But it’s somehow understandable as the German shepherd is only one year old, and we all know how destructive puppies can be.
So in order to keep an eye on Mercy, Carly installed a Ring indoor camera and placed it in the living room. This way, whenever the pooch grabs hold of something that she’s about to destroy, Carly would find out, and the dog mom could reprimand the pupper.
In the video below, Carly was going to town on a picture frame she grabbed from the shelf, but her mom caught her red-pawed. The dog mom then called Mercy through the Ring camera, and at first, it looked like it was pretty effective.
But not long after, the cats started investigating the camera, and one of them, Ling Ling, stood in front of it! Carly couldn’t help but burst out laughing as it seemed like Ling Ling was helping Mercy get away with her crime.
Check out Mercy and Ling Ling team up in the hilarious footage below.
