One of the top reasons why people just adore doggos is the fact that they bring out the kids within us because they always like to play. Our pups love running around and playing with their humans but this behavior does not last forever. A pooch’s lifespan is pretty short, so after a decade, their physical activities become limited.
Their bodies become so fragile that they couldn’t even go for a walk, which is an activity that they used to love. So it’s up to us, their humans, to make sure that they will enjoy their life even during their final years. Many dog parents could use a couple of tips from Tom Antonio.
Tom and his doggo, Cocoa, had gone viral on Facebook. It’s all because of a woman who uploaded a photo of the pooch, enjoying the sunset at Virginia Beach. The Chesapeake Bay Retriever was photographed while riding her mobile bed. This was a contraption that was made by Tom himself.
Cocoa was pretty much an adventurous doggo, and she always went with her dad on road trips. Virginia Beach is the pup’s favorite according to her human. But as Cocoa aged, she had lost the ability to walk, limiting her involvement with her dad’s outdoor activities.
However, she’s got a human that loves her so much. That’s why Tom created this ingenious contraption that served allowed to senior pooch to go out once again. They visited several places near Georgia, which is where they lived, and they finished it off with the Virginia Beach visit. It was evident that Cocoa was elated.
The woman who took their photo shared it on Facebook and it got shared thousands of times! Tom does not have a Facebook account so he had no idea. Sadly, Cocoa passed away after the photo had gone viral. But it’s nice to know that Cocoa had a dad that loved her so much and that she was happy during her final days.
