The majority of golden retrievers are renowned for their good manners and politeness. However, this did not appear to be the case with one specific golden retriever from Russia that recently made an unexpected television appearance.
Nadezhda Serezhkina, a Russian meteorologist, was at Moscow’s Sparrow Hills to report on the onset of spring. She was live on TV for channel Mir24 and was informing the audience that temperatures in the capital city had already reached the high 40s.
The report was proceeding smoothly until a golden retriever suddenly appeared on camera and seized Nadezhda’s microphone. It appeared that the dog had mistaken the microphone’s vibrant hues for a chew toy. The mischievous dog then ran away as the reporter pursued him and yelled at him to stop.
Incredulous by the unexpected turn of events, the anchor back in the studio opted to continue with another report, despite her best efforts not to burst out laughing. Who wouldn’t be laughing at what had just happened?
A few seconds later, Nadezhda reappeared, but this time she was seated with the lovely furry thief. The weather reporter had apparently managed to hunt down the golden retriever and collect her microphone, despite the fact that it bore bite marks caused by the mischievous dog. She returned to her reporting and her assessment by stating that the weather was ideal for dog walking. Before she went offline, she appeared to have a truce with the animal by shaking the dog’s paw.
As anticipated, when Mir24 posted this section to its Facebook page, it got over 57,000 views immediately. Multiple news sites from around the world also learned of the tale and broadcast it on their channels and websites, giving the mischievous golden retriever an instant online celebrity status.
It was a really amusing scene to watch and it continues to bring joy to those who watch it.
